This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes prohibited uses of Banana VPN.
Banana VPN exists to provide users with privacy, security, and encrypted network connectivity. It must not be used to harm others, compromise systems, or violate applicable law.
This AUP forms part of the Banana VPN Terms of Service.
1. Lawful Use
You may use Banana VPN for lawful purposes including:
protecting connections on public or untrusted Wi-Fi;
securing internet traffic;
protecting personal privacy;
remote work;

You remain responsible for complying with applicable law.
2. Unauthorized Access and Hacking
You may not use Banana VPN to:

perform credential-stuffing or brute-force attacks;
compromise third-party infrastructure; or
control systems without authorization.
Authorized security testing performed on systems you own or are expressly authorized to test is not prohibited merely because Banana VPN is used as part of that work.

You may not use Banana VPN to create, distribute, operate, host, or control malware or malicious infrastructure, including:
viruses;
worms;
trojans;
ransomware;
botnets;

4. Denial-of-Service Attacks
You may not use Banana VPN to conduct, coordinate, facilitate, amplify, or conceal denial-of-service or distributed denial-of-service attacks.
5. Spam and Abuse
You may not use Banana VPN to distribute unsolicited bulk messages, spam, phishing messages, malicious communications, or deceptive solicitations.
6. Fraud and Impersonation
You may not use Banana VPN to:
commit financial fraud;

Banana VPN has zero tolerance for use of the Service to create, distribute, obtain, promote, or facilitate child sexual abuse material or the sexual exploitation of minors.
Where legally required, suspected activity may be reported to appropriate authorities.
8. Threats and Harm
You may not use the Service to make credible threats of violence, facilitate serious physical harm, stalk individuals unlawfully, or conduct targeted harassment prohibited by law.
9. Intellectual Property
You may not knowingly use Banana VPN to distribute content in violation of applicable copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property laws.
Use of a VPN does not grant permission to access or distribute copyrighted material unlawfully.
10. Illegal Marketplaces and Transactions
You may not use Banana VPN to facilitate unlawful sales, trafficking, distribution, or acquisition of prohibited goods or services.
11. Network and Service Interference
You may not:

You may not publicly distribute subscription credentials, VPN configuration files, authentication tokens, certificates, or private service access information.
13. Automated and Excessive Use
Automated activity that creates unreasonable network load, impairs service for other users, abuses infrastructure, or violates applicable plan limitations is prohibited.
Normal high-bandwidth legitimate VPN usage is not prohibited merely because substantial data is transferred.
14. Resale
You may not resell, sublicense, commercially redistribute, or operate Banana VPN access as a third-party VPN service unless you have a written reseller or commercial agreement authorizing that activity.
15. Circumvention of Legal Restrictions
You are responsible for determining whether VPN use is lawful where you are located.
You may not use Banana VPN to violate sanctions, export restrictions, court orders, or other binding legal prohibitions applicable to you.

Banana VPN may investigate credible reports of abuse and take reasonable measures to protect users, systems, and infrastructure.
Depending on the circumstances, actions may include:
warning the user;

complying with legally binding requests from competent authorities.
We will consider the nature, severity, and reliability of available information when taking enforcement action.
17. Reporting Abuse
Security incidents, abuse reports, intellectual-property complaints, or other violations may be reported through the Banana VPN support/contact system available on vpn-banana.com.
Reports should include enough information for us to investigate the alleged violation.
